When piano class is a battle of wills with that teenage boy

Learning to teach my students differently is a constant endeavor and my membership at Tim Topham’s Topmusic has really helped me explore different ways to make piano class challenging, fun and relaxing at the same time.

I wrote a guest post (link below) based on my experiences teaching a batch of independent minded boys who had very definite ideas of their own. And I’ve learned something over the years.

That the same teaching ideas that help with disciplining wildly independent students also help other students relax!
